Her name is Gail Turner- She was given the name Gem by someone who was very dear to her heart. In Gem World the name means integrity, kindness and dedication, and she will always try to live up to the name Gem.
Gem's hometown is Paris, TX. She is divorced and has one son and four grandsons. She calls them her five heartbeats. She is blessed to still have both parents who are doing well. Friendships mean so much to her and she has been blessed over the years with some of the best.
Gem has worked in the medical field as a caretaker in hospital, nursing home, assisted living, and - most of all the private home of the individual. A combination of her 30 years of experience and compassion combined with integreity are the basis on which Gem's CareTakers emerged.
Her detailed knowledge of her work and a strong belief in common sense is how Gem starts ALL cases. She will work 1-4 weeks to get everything organized, with the help of the client and family as well as other health pprofessionals , doctors, home helath nurses and facility staff. Gem will then personally select a CareTaker to fit the plan of the client/family.
Gem will personally train the CareTaker to know everything necessary to the individual case. In all situations, the CareTaker is carefully monitored weekly by Gem and/or her chosen supervisor.
